Kris Jenner is now on mommy-duty. The 60-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" star hopped on a plane back to Los Angeles from vacationing in St. Barts after her son Rob Kardashian was rushed to the hospital, People Magazine reported.
The momager was on vacation with her toyboy boyfriend Corey Gamble when she heard the news about her son's hospitalization. The 28-year-old was rushed to a Los Angles hospital after not feeling well over the weekend, as previously reported by HNGN. His family decided to take him to a hospital when his condition worsened.
After performing several tests, doctors diagnosed the former reality star with diabetes. As of Tuesday afternoon, it was confirmed that Kardashian was released from the hospital and is back at home.
"Rob [Kardashian] had stomach problems over the weekend and didn't feel well. He was at the hospital briefly," a source told People. "He has to take medicine now to control his blood sugar level. He was also told he needs to rethink his whole lifestyle. He needs to see a dietician and change the way he eats. If he doesn't change his lifestyle, he was told that it could have serious consequences."
Kardashian was last seen in public last June during a run to In-N-Out burger. He was noticeably absent from family pictures and events, including the family's Christmas Eve party.
A source close to Kim Kardashian's brother said that Rob has admitted that his hospitalization was a "wake-up call." Doctors have advised him to lose weight and change his diet plan.
Kardashian, who has his own sock line "Arthur George," disappeared from the media spotlight after he gained over 100 pounds. Before his hospitalization, he was depressed and had reportedly neglected his diet again, a source told RadarOnline.
"He was having trouble breathing and he was sweating profusely, Rob did not even want to go to the hospital. His family made him," the source said.
