Creepy ‘Twilight’ Doll: Meet ‘Chuckesmee,’ the Scary Doll That Almost Replaced Baby Renesmee (PHOTO/VIDEO)

"Twilight" fans remember the sweet-faced baby Renesmee, the half-vampire half-human daughter of Bella and Edward. In "Breaking Dawn Part 2" the baby grew at an alarming rate quickly turning into a little girl, played by actress Mackenzie Foy.

Well, some fans might not know that the movie struggled with how they were going to portray the fast-growing baby and decided to test out several theories. One of those theories was dubbed "Chuckesmee" and thankfully the creepy-looking baby never made it on the big screen, Yahoo! reports.

As you probably guessed "Chuckesmee" is a combination of the baby's name Renesmee and the horror movie doll Chucky. In "Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga" DVD special the cast and crew talk about the animatronic baby that almost made it in the movie. Up until now the doll has not been seen.

"Chuckesmee is one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film," producer Wyck Godfrey said on the DVD.

The doll resembles a cross between Chucky - with its limp brown hair, big eyes and realistic but spooky face - and a little girl. The combination sure would have frightened some fans if shown in the movie.

"Chuckesmee was a giant misfire on all fronts," director Bill Condon told Entertainment Weekly back in August 2012. "Truly, it was one of the most grotesque things I've ever seen. It was a horror show! There was one shot where I call, 'Cut!' and suddenly she turns her head and mechanically stares right into the camera. It was incredibly disturbing. "

It's understandable why the doll would be so disturbing for the cast and why it was never shown in the movie. Chuckesmee looks nothing like the sweet baby fans saw in the movie. The producers decided to do-away with the doll and instead created a digital F/X baby Renesmee.

"You're trying to create something that's otherworldly with Renesmee in the movie that has to be prematurely intelligent yet still look like a baby but actually look a little bit more mature than one would be at one-day-old," Godfrey said. "The second you're holding it up you realize this is never going to work. No fake thing is ever going to do the trick."
