'Batman Arkham Origins' Easter Eggs: The Top 5 Hidden Secrets and References To The DC Universe Vol. 3 (VIDEOS)

Warner Bros. Games recently released the latest installment of its "Batman" franchise with the launch of "Batman: Arkham Origins." The game is packed with activities, achievements and, of course, Easter eggs. The game is full of small winks to the game franchise and the Gotham universe in general that fans might find very interesting and worth backtracking to check out. We've already covered many of these HERE and HERE. Check out our newest list, courtesy of IGN.

The Penguin's Office: Early in the game you have to track down the Penguin and somehow end up visiting his personal ship. At the end of the mission you're supposed to go and face the villain. Unfortunately the door is locked Batman is forced to wait. He leaves the ship but if you go back to the door it will be unlocked. Once you go inside you'll find the penguin's office, with many references to other characters and items in the DC Universe. Unfortunately the Pengin isn't there himself, but his office is worth an extensive look for fans. (Check out the video below).

Poison Ivy: There is a building that is very similar to the one from Arkham City in the new game where Poison Ivy resided for a time. The second video below shows the place and how to get there.

Mobsters: The Batman franchise is known for its gangster families. Alberto Falcone and Black Mask are featured in the game. The G.C.P.D. building gives clues to other criminal organization activity going on in the city. The pin-up boards and chalk boards are filled with names such as Carmine Falcone, Carla Viti, Sofia Falcone, Lewis (Lex) Moxon, Rupert Thorne and Tony Zucco. A look at the comics will turn up many of these names.

Wonder Woman Reference: A poster/billboard for Cale - Anderson Pharmaceuticals can be found in the game. It reads "TAKE ONE - CHASE YOUR BLUES AWAY." This is a reference to Veronica Cale, a primary villain of Wonder Woman.

The Flash/Green Lantern: As well as being a shipped crate aboard Penguin's The Final Offer from Queen Industries, there are billboards that can be found around the city advertising for Metropolis, Central City and Coast City. These are all three references to Superman, The Flash and The Green Landern respectively.
