'Batman Arkham Origins' Easter Eggs (Vol. 4): End-Credit Scene Hints At Suicide Squad (VIDEO)

During a post-credit scene for WB Games' latest release in the Batman franchise "Batman: Arkham Origins" there is a scene that hints at a possible plot point for the next installment in the series, whatever that may be. Spoilers ahead.

During a scene after the game's credits at the end of the story mode, Amanda Waller, a DC Universe character approaches Deathstroke in his Blackgate prison cell, according to IGN. She then issues the villain an ultimatum of either rotting inside of his prison cell or working for her. Based on Waller's position in the greater DC expanded universe, this is likely her way of inviting Deathstroke to join the famous Suicide Squad.

For those who are unfamiliar with the expanded DC Universe lore, the Suicide Squad is a group of DC characters that is tasked with suicide missions. Several chracters from the "Arkahm Origins" and the other games in the franchise including "Arkham Origins Blackgate," have already been members of the squat at one point or another in various DC continuities.

There are more allusions to the squad found in "Arkham Origins Blackgate" as well meaning the developers want to draw gamer's attention to this plot point. However, what still remains to be seen is whether or not this is a nod toward Blackgate, toward some sort of upcoming Deathstroke DLC, a Suicide Squad DLC or whether the clip is a teaser for a new Warner Brothers game centered on the missions and exploits of the Suicide Squad.

Tell us what you think. Have you come across any clues to the meaning of this cut scene? What would you prefer to see? More DLC centered around Deathstroke and Blackgate or perhaps one that puts Batman up against the villains and characters who join the team? Perhaps you're in favor of a new game from the same "Arkham Origins" developer?
