Tyra Banks' Daytime Show 'FABLife' Canceled After First Season

No more FABLife. Tyra Banks' daytime show "FABLife" has been canceled after one season, as Disney-ABC Domestic Television announced Tuesday that the syndicated talk show would not be returning for a second season, Variety reported.

"We're extremely proud of everyone involved with the show and would like to thank them for all of their contributions and tireless efforts," said Janice Marinelli, president of Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution.

"We are especially appreciative of our talented and dynamic co-hosts Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, Leah Ashley and Lauren Makk, and we would also like to extend a huge thanks to our station partners for all of their support."

The cancellation news comes two months after Banks announced that she would be leaving the show to focus more on her cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty. The lifestyle daytime panel continued on with model Chrissy Teigen, fashion editor Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and DIY YouTube celebrity Leah Ashley.

"This is a very difficult decision, but necessary," Banks, 41, said in a statement in November. "I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures. I will however, continue to support the growth and success of FABLife and greatly admire my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show."

"FABLife," originally built around Banks as a lead host, debuted in September on 10 of ABC's owned-and-operated stations, and the show focused on celebrities, fashion, food and interior design. The show got low rating from the start, drawing a 0.7-0.8 household rating and 0.3 in women 18-49, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The original episodes will continue to be produced and aired for the remainder of the season.
