After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Teresa Giudice will be returning to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" for Season 7 now that she has been released from prison following her 11-month sentence.
"I am very excited to be back," she told Bravo's Daily Dish. "For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0."
Giudice isn't the only one returning to the hit reality show as fan favorite Melissa Gorga and veteran Jacqueline Laurita will also be coming back.
"We're back!" Gorga said. "This season for me is all about family, fun, friendships and fashion. I can't wait for you to see what we've been up to and how much our kids have grown."
"I'm back," Laurita, who took a full-time hiatus from the show last season, added. "I can't get enough of my Bravo family! Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best!! Looking forward to new beginnings."
Season 6 wrapped up in November 2014, so Season 7 will follow Giudice's life as she fixes relationships with her family, including sister-in-law Gorga, and friends following her lengthy prison stay and as she prepares to say goodbye to her husband Joe, who leaves for his 41-month sentence next month.
Laurita, on the other hand, is hoping she and Giudice can have the bond they once had while still balancing life as moms. A lot of Season 7 will focus on her duties as a mom to her one autistic son, Nicholas.
"You guys excited for me, @melissagorga @JacLaurita @Bravotv #RHONJ Season 7? I am!!" Giduice tweeted on Monday following the exciting announcement.
While these three cast members are absolutely returning, it looks like three of the other women might not be coming back. Apparently, Dina Manzo and twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano all got cut from the show, production sources told TMZ. It's unclear if anyone will be filling their spot, but rumor has it Bravo is currently looking for new housewives.
A premiere date for season seven of "RHONJ" has not yet been released.
