The two sides come into the match in similar form, each with just one win in the last five matches. However Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp expects a boost to his lineup from the return of Philippe Coutinho, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge who are expected to be available for the Reds, according to This Is Anfield.
Klopp returns to his club after a successful appendix surgery over the weekend, according to the Score. He hopes to return to wining form after a disappointing draw against Sunderland, in which the Reds surrendered two goals within ten minutes, while fans left the match in protest.
"We were really bad at West Ham in the league and that was the reason we lost. We need to be better," Klopp said, per This Is Anfied.
West Ham has seen recent success against Liverpool and manager Slaven Bilic hopes it will continue, allowing his side to advance to the fifth round of the F.A. Cup.
"We've played Liverpool many times this season, twice recently with different lineups. We played their strongest team and then a team with five or six regular starters, so we are well prepared for whatever team they come with... They've had ups and downs this season but make no mistake, whenever a team is facing them, you have to have a complete game." Bilic said per the BBC.
Bilic is expected to dress a strong lineup, but will be without a number of players who are unavailable due to injury. James Tomkins will miss the match with a calf injury, while Sam Byram and Carl Jenkinson are both unavailable, according to the BBC.
The Blackburn Rovers will host the winner of this match in the fifth round of the F.A. Cup in a match set for Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. EST.
