The Karachi Kings lost their previous game against Islamabad United on Sunday. Batting first, United posted a paltry total of 132 for eight. The Misbah ul Haq-led side, however, restricted the Kings at 130 for nine in the twenty over.
"We could have done better. I am disappointed but it is part of the game. We had our chances and could have done better. Tomorrow is a new day, hopefully we'll come back with a new plan," Kings skipper Shoaib Malik said, according to The National.
Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, lost their top spot on the points table on Sunday, as the Quetta Gladiators defeated Shahid Afridi's side by three wickets, according to menafn.
