Taco Bell Debuts Spicy Cheeto-Stuffed Crunchwrap Sliders

Taco Bell is known for having some of the craziest and tastiest fast food items out there. From the Quesarito, to Cheesy Gordita Crunches and the ever-so-popular Doritos Locos Tacos, the cheesy possibilities are endless.

Since the Dorito mash-ups were such a hit, Taco Bell has decided to try out another Frito-Lay product to pack even more crunchy-cheesy goodness into one of its classic menu items. The popular fast food chain has announced that there are three new Crunchwrap sliders available on its Canadian menus, all stuffed with Cheetos.

The sliders are mini versions of the classic Crunchwrap, which has been a staple on the growing menu for some time now. There are three options available, which are each jam-packed with spicy Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos. The Beefy Cheddar slider features ground beef, nacho cheese and shredded cheddar cheese; the Spicy Chicken includes shredded chicken and spicy ranch; and the Supreme is stuffed with pretty much everything that goes into the typical taco, including ground beef, nacho cheese, sour cream and tomatoes.

"Taco Bell Crunchwraps have been a best-selling menu item since they were first introduced 10 years ago," said Veronica Castillo, head of marketing for Taco Bell Canada. "This year, we've shaken things up to create a smaller-sized Crunchwrap with a new flavor profile that combines the much-loved Crunchwrap with another all-time favorite snack, Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno. The two have come together to create a truly iconic taste experience-just for our Canadian fans."

Taco Bell continues to bring "unique and innovate products" and these new flavors have been tested and screened for months to ensure that they're exactly what hungry customers crave.

"Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno snacks are the perfect addition to Taco Bell's fan-favorite Crunchwrap and we hope Canadians will love the extra hit of Cheetos flavor and crunch added to a lunchtime favorite," said Nancy Rooney, senior director of Marketing-Foodservice for Pepsico Canada. "We can't wait for Canadian fans to get their hands on one to experience the bold taste and crunch for themselves."

Each slider is currently for sale for $2.99. It is unclear whether or not this "epic collaboration between two fan faves" will be making its way to the U.S. menu anytime soon.
