The Following Season 2 Spoilers: Why is Emma in an Abandoned-Looking Apaprtment Building? [PHOTO]; Two New Stars Join the Cast

We're one month away from "The Following" return and hopefully more specific news comes out as we get closer to the January premiere of the show's sophomore season.

In addition to the casting news and promos we've received, fans are now able to get another glimpse into Season 2 with a photo provided exclusively to EOnline.

The photo shows Emma (Valorie Curry) in a hoodie, jeans and boots walking in what seems to be a low-end apartment. She is wearing the dark purple colored wig she donned at the end of seasons 2.

It will be interesting to see how the events of last season affect the two pupils from last season - Emma being Joe's pupil and Weston who has looked up to Ryan. Weston may still be suffering from the beating he took in addition to helping chase Joe. Emma may still be suffering from her murder of Jacob and the fact Joe is dead or at least in hiding.

In other news, two more stars have been added to the long line of individuals who will appear in the thriller's second season.

According to TheWrap.com, Gregg Henry ("Scandal") will guest star and Sprague Grayden ("Low Winter Sun") will have a recurring role on "The Following".

Henry, most recently known for playing the wealthy and influential Hollys Doyle on "Scandal", will play the distinguished Dr. Strauss - a man who might just be hiding something big.

Grayden will play an author named Carrie Cooke who wrote a book about the crazy events involving Joe Carroll last season. She and Ryan won't be the best of friends. Cooke also used to be a tabloid reporter. Grayden currently plays Maya Callis on "Low Winter Sun". According to The Wrap, AMC has not announced if it will be bringing back the show for Season 2.

"The Following" returns in a two-night event on Sunday, January 19 and Monday January 20. You can view the EOnline photo here.
