'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Villains: Leaked Banner Reveals Green Goblin (PHOTOS)

UPDATE: Sony has confirmed this banner to be official on its Facebook page for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"

Original Story Follows: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been stirring up interest across the web with the news that its first official trailer is only a few days away. Now a new banner poster discovered by a Twitter user @arkhamhc hints at a new villain for the web slinger to have to battle in the upcoming film.

It was announced several week ago that Chronicle's Dane DeHaan was cast as Harry Osborn and the Bourne Identity's Chris Cooper would be Norman Osborn. The inclusion of this family is obvious to many fans of the comics and original film trilogy as the stepping stones for the Green Goblin character. With Electro and Rhino already announced as villains, many assumed the Osborns were merely there as foil or setup characters for a third movie. However, the banner has shown DeHaan clad in green armor atop a glider in between Jamie Foxx's Electro and a mechanized version of the Rhino.

IGN points out that Sony has not yet verified the authenticity of this banner, it is very likely the ad, found in Las Vegas, is official given the quality of the images and the costume design.

The banner is actually made up of three individual posters that, when put side-by-side create a single image. Each section of the poster is devoted to a different villain with Electro on the right, mechanized Rhino on the left and what looks like the Green Goblin in the center.

In the comic books Norman Osborn is the original Green Goblin and Harry and Peter Parker are close friends. However, in the poster Harry appears to be the one on the glider hinting at some kind of father and son evil duo or partnership.
