Lindsay Lohan has left her problems in Los Angeles behind for a brand new life in London. The actress now lives a much calmer life in London with her billionaire Russian boyfriend Egor Tarabasov.
The troubled star used to split her time partying in New York City and Los Angeles, but ever since she moved to London and met her new business heir beau, Lohan has no interest in returning to the states anytime soon.
"She will never come to Hollywood," a source said of Lohan. "The second she lands here, she is followed all day long."
Lohan has earned a less than stellar reputation back home in the United States, and with the help of Tarabasov, she is trying to rebuild her tarnished reputation.
"People don't like her in Hollywood, and she knows," said the source. "I think she's trying to change people's perception of her."
Lohan, 29 and Tarabasov, 22, have been together for about seven months now. The two met for the first time over the summer. Tarabasov is a Russian-born businessman who currently works in London as the managing director of Home House Estates. He even spent the holidays with Lohan and her family before the couple jetted off to Costa Rica for New Year's together.
"He has a lot of strong connections in Russia - these are big people and they're very supportive," LiLo's father Michael Lohan said of his daughter's new boyfriend. "He wants things to be in the right place for Lindsay and he's wise beyond his years." He added that Tarabasov was "not a good influence, he's a great influence."
"She sounds more humble and much more calm," the source continued. "I think it was good for her to get away from her family - and she has said [moving to London] was the best thing that ever happened."
Added the source: "Even in New York, when she was home the last time, she didn't go out and she said she didn't want to be in the press."
Lohan finally admitted to being in a relationship with Tarabasov in an interview with the Sun newspaper. She also revealed that she passed on a late night rendezvous with One Direction's Harry Styles.
"I didn't know it was him," she said, explaining that Styles had knocked on her door at 2 a.m. "He was in a suit. I said, 'Well, you're very good-looking - can I help you?' That was it."
"It didn't click who he was at the time," Lohan continued. "I told my sister the next day and she was like, 'Wait, are you kidding me? Do you understand? Do you have his number? Can I have it?'"
