Katt Williams Charged: Arrest Warrant Issued After Altercation With Georgia Teenager [VIDEOS]

Katt Williams and a teenager have been charged with disorderly conduct and arrest warrants have been issued in their names following an altercation at a Georgia apartment complex last week, according to police.

Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said Williams, 44, and Luke Walsh, 17, were charged over their involvement in last week's fight, which was captured on video. Holbrook added that Walsh will be charged as an adult in the case.

"It's my understanding that Wash is in custody at the jail and we have made contact with Williams' attorney and it is our hopes and our understanding that he will be turning himself in," Holbrook said.

The uncut video footage showed Williams throwing the first punch after a confrontation with the teenager before the 17-year-old, a former wrestler, tackled the "Friday After Next" star and restrained him with a headlock.

However, an extended video of the incident that surfaced later, showed Walsh chasing Williams around as he played soccer with the kids. In the video, the teen can be seen repeatedly getting in the rapper/comedian's face, which prompted him to sucker punch the kid.

"They both played roles in this altercation. They both should have known. You'd think Mr. Williams, (a person) of his age, would know better than to pick a fight with a 17-year-old, but they both played active roles in this case,' Holbrook said.

Williams' lawyer, Drew Findling, said his client was doing community service and enjoying a game of soccer with children at a subsidized housing complex in Gainesville when the altercation took place.

"It's a shame because from all accounts from the people we interviewed, his behavior was exemplary the whole day," Findling said.

The arrest warrant comes weeks after Williams was arrested for threatening to kill his bodyguard and charged with making terroristic threats, false imprisonment, aggravated assault and marijuana possession. Williams threatened the bodyguard while the comedian's acquaintance hit him with a baseball bat and choked him, according to officials.

In a separate incident last month, Williams was charged with battery following an altercation with a pool supply store employee in Gainesville.

"At the time of these new charges he was actually out on a conditional bond and subsequently he has an arrest order from superior court revoking his bond," Holbrook added.
