Rockstar Games has been teasing some exciting new features coming to its latest multiplayer game "Grand Theft Auto Online" including the long awaited content creator as well as some exciting new DLC to expand on the game's award winning Story Mode. Now it seems that some users have found a way to have a little extra fun online without an official patch download.
A glitch has been discovered that allows people's GTA Online characters to access the prologue area of the Story Mode in North Yankton. If you're able to pull off the glitch, you'll be able to race around the snow-covered streets as if they were a part of any other area or neighborhood in the game. You can even move with more freedom allowing you to discover a number of places that weren't featured in the campaign.
According to IGN, in order to access the area in GTA Online you simply need to replay the opening mission offline by selecting it from the missions menu. After that play through that mission until you exit the building and the police arrive to engage you. Once this happens you need to hit pause and get a friend to invite you to their GTA Online multiplayer session. For some reason or another, this will cause North Yankton to appear on your GTA Online Map. It'll be floating over the south-east part of the map and will only be accessible via helicopter or some kind of other air transport.
A video from Computer and Video Games (CVG) led by presenter James Jarvis, reveals exactly how to unlock this area. Check out the game below and tell us what you think.
