'GTA Online' Update: Rockstar Announces 'Beach Bum' Content Pack For Nov. 19, What to Expect

Rockstar Games has announced that the first of its expansions for its newest multiplayer experience "GTA Online," will be available as a free download to all users on Tueday November 19.

The "Beach Bum" update was originally announced last month and, according to IGN, will come complete with new vehicles, jobs, customization options and weapons that will automatically be added to the game as part of the 1.06 title update.

While all of these updates sound great, perhaps the most exciting element coming to "Grand Theft Auto Online" will be the new map builder/content creator, which is expected to be going live with the release of the new update. This will allow players to customize races and deathmatches. Rockstar will be keeping an eye on the more exceptional creations and promoting them on the Rockstar Newswire and will even go as far as to feature them with a Rockstar verified label in-game.

As far as jobs go, the new beach-themed races, deathmatches, parachute jumps, last team standings, survivals and gang attacks will be added. These will include the "Grass Rout II" race, which will run from the North bank of the Zancudo River to the beach in North Chamash. In addition, the "Sundae Driving" Vespucci Beach bike race will go live as well.

As far as survival missions go, now you can hold off wave after wave of NPC attackers on the Del Perro Pier right in front of the giant Ferris wheel. Deathmatches on the Paleto Beach shoreline for 4-8 players and a "View of Vespucci" parachute jump will be included as well.

The BF Bifta dune buggy, Canis Kalahari off-road truck and Bravado Paradise beach camper van will all be available for free via the in-game internet as well as a Speeder speedboat, which can be picked up at the marina.

As for weapons, all Ammu-Nation stores will begin selling the SNS Pistol and Broken Bottle weapons. All of these item and vehicle upgrades will appear as options for Trevor, Franklin and Michael in the game's Story Mode as well as finding their way to online. However, the methods by which you obtain these items will be a little different. Finally, new haircuts and tattoos will be available to help your character look a bit more like - you guessed it, a beach bum.
