Rockstar Games has announced that the new patch meant to fix the last of the bugs being experienced by people from the launch of its new multiplayer mode in "Grand Theft Auto V," "GTA Online." The developers also confirmed the news that it will be releasing the promised $500,000 in-game currency stimulus package sometime in the next couple of days.
According to IGN, patch 1.05 can now be downloaded and should prevent players from losing their progress in the event that the Rockstar cloud storage system goes out. This will protect your cash balance in the face of network problems and will hopefully stop anyone from losing vehicles or modifications to their cars when they log in and out of a GTA Online session.
The company has also made it clear that the $500,000 GTA Online money will be issued in the next couple of days. Rockstar has said that all of the cash will be sent to people's in-game accounts within a 24-hour period once the swap is initiated. This means, that if your friends have their money and you don't, you only need to wait 24 hours before it's time to panic that you didn't get paid. If this is you, bare in mind that your payout will likely be on its way very shortly.
The stimulus package was originally meant to come out during the original launch month of October. However, Rockstar overestimated the amount of time it would take to completely fix all of the bugs and glitches that the stimulus package was meant to compensate for. The developers pushed back the stimulus to sometime this week and now, it seems that the glitches and bugs have been fixed and Rockstar is finally ready to give players a big cash payout.
