‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Preview: ‘We All Fall Down’

The season two premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" showed our main characters that while walkers may not be able to swim, they're still able to float along in the open ocean. This reinforces the hard truth that there really is no safe zone in this new world order.

While our heroes must worry about a bevy of external threats, they must also struggle with threats from within. Colman Domingo's Victor Strand made it abundantly clear last week that if anyone doesn't agree with his methods, they can hop off his yacht at the next dock.

In Sunday's second episode of season two ("We All Fall Down"), that theory will continue to be tested as the group comes to shore and finds shelter with a survivalist family. Madison (Kim Dickens) is immediately suspicious of the family's true motivations, while Daniel (Ruben Blades) remains suspicious of everyone, especially Strand himself.

So what can fans expect this week on "Fear the Walking Dead?"

Extreme Measures

If "The Walking Dead" has taught us anything, it's that keeping a safe distance between you and the zombie hordes of the world is crucial to your survival. We've seen characters do some pretty unspeakable things in order to keep walkers off their back. That lesson will be well-learned this week in "Fear," as one family showcases some creative methods in keeping their loved ones safe.

Total Destruction

"Fear the Walking Dead" explored the slow collapse of Los Angeles last season as the zombie virus began to spread. If the writing on the wall is to be believed, Travis (Cliff Curtis) will find evidence that the U.S. military has laid waste to yet another major city in an attempt to halt the spread. Is he right? Does it really matter? Our characters are slowly coming to terms with the truth that life will never be the same.

Other Boat?

When last week's episode ended, Strand had become eerily suspicious of the boat Alicia had led directly to them. Who are these other people? Are they friend or foe? If "The Walking Dead" universe has taught us anything it's that everyone is an enemy. Strand seems to be the only one who understands that concept so far.

"Fear the Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on AMC.
