'The Elder Scrolls Online' Teases Dark Brotherhood DLC [VIDEO]

Blood will flow. Bethesda has released a new video for the hit MMO "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," teasing the arrival of the Dark Brotherhood. The faction and game pack will be the next major DLC for ESO once it arrives for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.

The Dark Brotherhood is one of the most notorious and popular factions among the "Elder Scrolls" fandom. Hopeful members of the organization are generally recruited after committing a murder and are then contacted by the group in some way, shape or form. For example, in "Oblivion," the player will be contacted by a member of the group called The Speaker who gives him or her a mark to kill before they can join. On the other hand, in "Skyrim," players are straight kidnapped in their sleep after completing a specific quest and must kill one of three NPCs before receiving an invitation.

It's not clear if players will need to do something similar, but a quote from a press release suggests that it might: "Your talent for homicide has been noticed, and an invitation has arrived to join the Dark Brotherhood! You'll visit the Gold Coast, the westernmost region of the old Empire, where you'll find opportunity, intrigue ... and murder."

Bethesda has promised to deliver more info about the upcoming DLC in later weeks. In the meantime, it provided a quick list of things to expect once "The Dark Brotherhood" arrives:
