Bindi Irwin shares Steve Irvin's memory on his 10th death anniversary

In her Instagram and Twitter accounts, Bindi shared a picture of her dad holding her when she was a toddler.

"You'll be my hero for my entire existence. I love you more than words can describe," captioned Bindi as quoted by Entertainment Tonight.

Steve Irwin was a renowned conservationist who died on Sept.4 2006 in an underwater filming incident at Batt Reef, Port Douglas, Queensland.

He approached a giant stingray from behind to film it, but the stingray attacked and hit him with its tail. The stingray's barb pierced his heart, bleeding him to death.

During the commemoration of his 10th death anniversary last Sunday, Steve's wife, Terry, also took to social media to honor her husband.

"Happy Father's Day Australia. Hug your dad," Terri said in a photo caption where Steve held a young crocodile with Bindi and his son Robert.

Bindi now follows her father's footstep to become a conservationist. She also inherited her father's guts as she wrestled a 15-foot saltwater crocodile in Australia Zoo in Queensland, as reported by Daily Mail. She was filmed to tackle the giant reptile with a team of 10 men.

The 18-year old Bindi is also an actress with a talent in dancing. She won the Season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars" in November last year.
