Details on the plot are unknown yet at the moment. All that have been revealed is that it will showcase the earth's most powerful heroes fighting Thanos who shall take possession of the six Infinity Stones and later incorporate them in the Infinity Gauntlet to enable him to become a god.
As also disclosed in Headline and Global News, there are already speculations on the plot as well as on the line up of heroes who will appear in the two part epic movie.
Every actor who will be casted in this massive production will work for Marvel from late 2016 to summer of 2017. The filming of this project is identical to the "Lord of the Rings" shoots. Nevertheless, since these movies will be connected to each other, it would really be practical that the shooting would happen back to back rather than taking a long break in-between filming.
