There is no stopping the NBA Trade Rumors nowadays. Pre-season games already started and the new NBA season will begin in just a couple of weeks from now. So, rumors will have its way to make fans get excited and thrilled to see players moving to another team.
In a new set of NBA trade rumors, a new name came up while the others are regulars this offseason. Reports are saying that it involves three teams and seven players that could perceive as a blockbuster deal.
According to The Inquisitr, the three teams involve are the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls and the New Orleans Pelicans. The trade scenario would be the Lakers will acquire shooting guard Jimmy Butler from Bulls.
In return, the Bulls will get power forward Anthony Davis from New Orleans while the Pelicans will get five players. These include Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram, point guards D'Angelo Russell and Jose Calderon and Bulls power forward Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis.
The report further revealed that the Lakers seems to be the winner on this trade. Adding Butler to the lineup gives them a perfect replacement for franchise player Kobe Bryant. Bryant just retires last season. Despite that they gave up three players, there is no doubt about Butler's All-Star caliber skills.
On the other hand, the Bulls acquire one of the future players in the league in Davis. The team looks weaker without Butler. But with the arrival of Davis, a lot of people say he will bring the Bulls in a higher level.
On the Pelicans part, no one from the players they will get will replace Davis skill set. But if they are looking for the future, acquiring Ingram and Russell is the best move. Ingram and Russell are both young gifted players and predicted to be an All-Star players someday.
In a separate report of Sportsrageous, Butler's arrival to the Lakers will give them a big boost to contend with other teams and forgot they dismal performance last season. On the other hand, the tandem of Davis and Dwayne Wade on Bulls uniform are what fans also would like to see. There is Denzel Valentine and Doug McDermott that can support Davis down low.
While on the Pelicans, Ingram and Russell have the potential to be the cornerstone of the franchise as well, as per stated on the report. The two is thought to be better in the coming years, especially Ingram who is being compared to Kevin Durant's talent.
