Conjuring 3 release date, news and spoilers: Director James Wan hints at ‘werewolf demon’ plot, 80’s setting

Fans remain optimistic that Conjuring 3 will happen and now, Director James Wan just dropped hints that the Warren family is back to investigate another case of paranormal activity.

It can be recalled that Conjuring 2 was released three years after the first instalment of the movie. With a report also from Movie News Guide, if New Line Cinema will adhere to this, it can be concluded that the Conjuring 3 would most likely hit the theaters 2019 or 2020.

Even if no official confirmation has been made yet, the movie's director, James Wan, teased fans on how the Conjuring 3 could look like. He shared that at most, the third instalment will take place in the 80's particularly in the year 1983. Fans of the blockbuster horror movie franchise would somehow believe this since the two prequels are set in the 70's.

Ed and Lorraine Warren, the main cast in two horror films investigate several notable paranormal cases and Wan believes that there are still more stories to share.

The well-known couple once investigated werewolf of Southend, union cemetery, Smurl family and the notable of which is the Haunting in Connecticut that attracted the attention of quite a lot of people.

According to IGN, it seems like the werewolf story caught the interest of the director but James Wan took extra caution so as not to spoil any detail of Conjuring 3.

It has been reported that the couple has cast out a werewolf demon form a certain carpenter named Bill Ramsey. This, according to report, is the current favourite of the director and is eyeing to base the plot of the next Conjuring movie to this one.

However, James Wan still has to reveal the theme in which the Conjuring 3 movie would revolve on.
