With the marriage of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo approaching fast, the mood on the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" has taken on a wedding flavor. Jeremy is all set to pop the question to his ladylove and seeing his preparations, made the married sisters Jill and Jessa nostalgic.
Tuesday episode saw the elder Duggar sisters, Jessa and Jill recounting their own marriage journey, reports Daily Mail. Jill, 25 and Jessa, 23 looked back on the time when they received proposals from their respective beaus. Jessa spoke at length about the whirlwind romance of Jill and wondered if Jinger would also take the same route.
Talking about Jill's relationship with Derick Dillard, she said that it was like they courted for three months, remained engaged for three months and then got married. Dillard also pitched in and said that the relationship of Jinger and Jeremy has many parallels with the one that he and Jill shared. He was also in a long-distance relationship and revealed that they wanted to spend time together before getting engaged.
He admitted that they took time of one month to physically know each other in order to make sure that they were right for one another. Notably, Dillard proposed to Jill in April 2014 and they exchanged wedding vows two months later on June 21, 2014. They have a 17-months-old son named Israel.
As for Jessa, the 23-year-old Duggar daughter accepted Ben Seewald's proposal in August 2014 and they married the same year in November. She also has a son, named Spurgeon and is also pregnant for the second time. Commenting on Jinger's marriage, she said that it might be even faster for her and Jeremy.
It is worth mentioning here that Jinger is madly in love with Jeremy and is keen to tie the knot. Past episodes of "Counting On" saw her traveling with her family to meet Jeremy's. She had also said earlier that she makes her own dating rules and is not confined by the philosophies and values of the Duggar clan.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" airs every Tuesday on TLC.
