As NBA preseason games just got started, NBA Trade Rumors are not stopping and on its roll going to the NBA regular season that will happen just a couple of weeks from now. While some teams look satisfied with their current rosters, many teams are still trying to find a way to upgrade their line-up.
But one trade rumor that is circling around the league today caught the attention of basketball enthusiast. The trade involves two All-Star players and also teammates in the Men's US Basketball Team who just recently won gold in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
According to Sportsrageous, there's a possibility that the Chicago Bulls will strike a deal with the Indiana Pacers following their dismal start to the ongoing preseason games. The Bulls already lost two games and looks disappointed with things are going. Trade scenario is saying that the Bulls will send small forwards Jimmy Butler, Doug McDermott and shooting guard Denzel Valentine to the Pacers in exchange for Paul George.
The report also says that it's an equal trade for both teams as they both strengthen their rosters. Adding Butler's skill to the Pacer's roster will likely make them a contender in the Eastern Conference division while McDermott and Valentine could come from the bench as stated in the report. Pacers could likely have a starting lineup of Jeff Teague, Monta Ellis, Butler, Thaddeus Young and Miles Turner.
On the separate report by The Inquisitr, the Bulls just recently lost superstars Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah but got the replacement in return acquiring Rajon Rondo and Dwayne Wade in the offseason. Rondo and Wade have won a championship and their experience is a welcome addition to the Bulls.
If ever the deal will push through, the Bulls could have a "Big Three" in their lineup with starters which include Rondo, Wade, George, Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez. However, the report also says that George and Butler are currently the top players of their respective teams and it will be hard to trade them right away.
It seems that trade deal will not push through because it will hamper both teams chemistry. But if ever both teams will struggle at the start of the regular season, it will be a viable deal to look back.
Will Paul George and Jimmy Butler suit up for different someday? Will the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers push through with the trade?
