There's no stopping NBA trade rumors nowadays and it's in full swing even as the new NBA season starts. While other teams are already satisfied with their lineup, many teams are still desperately looking for trade deals to upgrade their roster.
Rumors are now spreading that there is a brewing discussion between three teams that would like to like to make a viable trade to one another. The supposed trade involves eight players, which include some notable players.
According to NBA Trade Rumors, there are talks between the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nugget to strike a deal that involves eight players. In this three-team trade, trade scenario is suggesting that the Bulls will acquire Clippers forwards Blake Griffin and Branden Dawson and Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari.
The Clippers will then receive Nuggets forwards Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler and Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic along with Nuggets 2017 1st round pick. The Nuggets will then get Bulls guard Jimmy Butler and forward Taj Gibson.
The report also said that it is a plausible trade for the three teams involved as they will get improvements on the position they're set to improve. Though those may not serve as upgrades for their starters, they would serve as great additions to their respective second units.
The Inquisitr further broke down on the good deals the three teams could obtain from this trade. The Bulls will have a perfect replacement for Butler and Gibson as they get starters in return in Griffin and Gallinari. This is a solid catch for the Bulls as they will get an even value in the process.
As for the Clippers, they got talented power forwards as replacements for Griffin. Faried is a well-known energy guy and had been part of USA Basketball Team that won gold in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Mirotic will be a spot up shooter because he is more of a scorer while Chandler is a reliable scorer that can drive to the basket.
On the Nuggets side, they got an All-Star player in Butler and a dependable forward in Gibson. Though they are set to release three players on this trade, there's no doubt that the addition of Butler and Gibson will boost Denver's lineup.
Will the three teams make the trade happen? Will the scenario prove to be a viable trade deal for all of them?
