HTC Bolt, revealed by tipster Evan Blass last September, is expected to hit the market this month.
It looks like this device will be HTC's first phone to run on Android Nougat.
Believing the words of HTC ROM developer LlabTooFeR, the Bolt will run Android Nougat with Sense 8 UI. The same Sense variant that we find in HTC 10 amid its Android Marshmallow.
HTC Bolt is reportedly codenamed HTC Acadia and isn't a US-exclusive phone. It will be coming to other markets as well like Europe, Asia and Africa.
Sprint is getting ready to sell HTC Bolt in the U.S. But right now, we don't have information about the specs and features of the phone.
But if leaks are true, the device certainly resembles the HTC 10 minus the rear flash placement. It probably would have a dual card slot - for the SIM card and expandable memory.
The rear of HTC Bolt features a single camera lens on the top center with a dual LED flash above it. There are two antenna bands running across the top and bottom of the device's back that is similar to HTC 10 design. The front of the device bears a horizontal home button at the bottom.
About Android 7.0 Nougat
As many would probably know, a major update to Android is released every year. This year's update is called Android 7.0 Nougat, following the theme of the dessert-inspired name.
Unlike its predecessor, Nougat was first released only for developers with a public preview beta program, giving them early access to the newest version of Android. The new OS has been released to Google phones.
