[VIDEO] MacBook Pro 2016 Leaks, Update & Release Date: New MacBook Pro to Feature Magic Keyboard?

2016 MacBook Pro has been anticipated all year long but has not so much as hinted in all the Apple events that came and went this year. However, now speculation is rife that MacBook Pro 2016 is all set for its October launch and will feature a completely overhauled keyboard with an addition of a secondary display screen. This display panel will be placed right above the primary keyboard and transform the function keys.

According to reports, this panel will change depending upon which apps are in use. This is not all, the publication also noted some exciting revelation about the upcoming MacBook Pro.

A Reddit user, named Foxconninsider, revealed some very intimate details about the keyboard design which is expected to release along with the latest MacBook models. The Reddit user claims that Foxconn, a reputed Apple supplier, flaunted some prototypes of Apple products at the MIT equivalent China, Tsinghua University, where the user reportedly works.

Foxconninsider said that the company hosted an event in college campus where it was revealed that Apple is in the process of acquiring Sonder, a company that rose to fame for its backlit e-ink keyboards. The company was responsible for introducing the technology that could allow the computer to toggle between shortcut and language.

While the identity of the Reddit user looks authentic, as verified by the moderators of /r/Apple, the validity of the news is yet to be confirmed.

If Sonder technology is indeed being integrated into the keyboard design of upcoming MacBook Pro, the final product will be nothing short of a magic keyboard. With e-ink technology, the keys will change as per user's needs.

So far, the rumors about Apple replacing the top row of function keys with touch-friendly OLED panel has been doing the rounds. However, there is no confirmation on whether MacBook Pro 2016 will indeed feature the innovative magic keyboard or release the MacBook at all.

Apple and Sonder remain unavailable for comment.
