The Dallas Cowboys are headlining the news lately. After being rumored to trade away QB Tony Romo to the Denver Broncos, another player on their line-up is believed to be on his way out of the team.
Earlier, reports state that Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant suffered a hairline fracture in his right knee coming into Week 4 of the season. Holding a 2-1 record before Bryant was sidelined, the Cowboys struck three consecutive wins without him. Now, they are at the top of the National Football Conference (NFC) division having a 5-1 record heating up speculation that Bryant will be traded away.
According to The Inquisitr, the Cowboys seems to be shopping the 2-time Pro Bowler Bryant to the New England Patriots. NFL trade rumors that Bryant will be dealt away emerge when Cowboys coach Jason Garrett and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan use the strength of their offensive line to compensate the loss of Bryant to injury.
Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott are playing good music together to lead their team to victories. So, both Romo and Bryant are said to be dispensable to the team placing them to trade rumors as of late.
Now that the new game plan is working for the Cowboys, it is easy for them to trade Bryant to the Patriots as per stated also in the report. The Patriots would gladly welcome Bryant in their fold to strengthen their lineup on the offensive end. It could also make Tom Brady's job easy having Bryant's ability to receive long passes for a touchdown.
In a separate report by Sportsnaut, former QB Donovan McNabb believed that is better to trade away Romo and Bryant now and leave the future of the Cowboys to Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. McNabb also pointed that Bryant becomes a distraction rather than a productive member of the team.
McNabb also mentioned Bryant's immaturity in avoiding treatment on his injury and an MRI on his knee. The report also says that looking at McNabb's statement, it is not bad to consider his opinion having Cowboys young players take changer of the team's future.
