The Huawei is preparing to launch the new model of their flagship for the year, and that it will be called the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Huawei has already been taking some of Samsung's smartphone market share in China; with this launch they will be likely to take more from them.
Gadget leaker Evan Blass report claimed to show the front of Huawei's upcoming smartphone. The upcoming Huawei Mate 9 Pro will feature 5.9-inch displays and the Kirin 960 processors with 4GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage.
The high-end "Pro" model will be having a quad HD resolution with a dual lens camera that will offer up to 4x optical zoom; in competition to Apple's new iPhone 7 Plus and its 2x optical zoom.
The rumours also indicate that Huawei will be going the flat/curved model for the smartphone that Samsung has been doing with the Galaxy S series for a couple of years.
Good news is that the Google's Daydream VR feature will only be supported on the Mate 9 Pro, and not the vanilla version. A 1080p resolution stretched to 6 inches will give amazing high end VR experience, reports GSMArena.
The Pro device from Huawei will be having a 1440p display and will be running on the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It'll be Daydream VR ready as mentioned above and will be a similar rear camera setup to what we had saw earlier this year with the Huawei P9. But it will come with some improved sensors.
The best and most popular thing about the Mate 9/Pro's 4X optical zoom, thanks to its rear-facing camera setup that will help to get the perfect shot to the photography lovers. This is not done, but the reports and rumours suggest that the most expensive version of the Mate 9 Pro will be priced at $1,300.
Huawei will reportedly to unveil its new Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro during a press conference on November 3rd, reports BGR.
