Android 7.0 Nougat installation has become a craze among smartphone holders. However, not all smartphone holders are able to upgrade to the latest version of mobile OS released by Google.
Only some phones are compatible with Android 7.0 Nougat mobile OS. Some of the Nexus and Sony devices have already been upgraded, according to GSM Arena. But there is a huge list of other smartphones released by mobile manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, Motorola and Sony, that is yet to receive an upgrade notification.
The similar is the case with popular Motorola phones such as Moto Maxx, Turbo and Droid Turbo. These are some of the highly successful phones that quickly gained the attention of the users with highly-competent specs. On the flip side, these smartphones are still running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, according to the Country Caller.
Users of these smartphones really want to upgrade their phones to Android 7.0 Nougat, however, the upgrade option for these phones has not been released yet officially. But Moto Maxx, Turbo and Droid Turbo users can still install the brand new OS on their smartphones.
Here are some of the steps that can be used to install Android 7.0 Nougat on Motorola Maxx, Turbo and Droid Turbo:
Step 1: Download the Gapps files and ROM ZIP files and cope them to the device's internal storage root.
Step 2: Hold the volume down button and power button until device boots into bootloader. Reboot the device into recovery mode by making a selection from the list that appears.
Step 3: In recovery mode, select factory reset or wipe data option upon navigation to wipe. Also select wipe system and cache option in advanced wipe section. Lastly, navigate to the install section.
Step 4: Select ROM ZIP file and select Gapps ZIP file upon tapping Add More Zips. Start flashing by swapping right.
It will take between 5 and 10 minutes for the ROM to be flashed on the mobile. Rebooting the phone after all these steps will make the smartphone run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
