The latest NBA trade rumors are being propagated in the league today. It involves some notable players such as Golden State Warriors Klay Thompson and Indiana Pacers Paul George. And it could change the landscape of future for the three teams involved.
Thompson is the most popular name in the recent rumor mills for the past few weeks. His recent slump figures him to be traded to the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings and Orlando Magic. Though as of this moment, none of those rumored deal transpires.
For George, he was connected to previous rumors before but dragged again this time into the mix of new NBA trade reports. Being a high valued player he was targeted by teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings. But none of those teams were able to lure him and until he's still the alpha dog of the Pacers team.
But now, one website was able to come up a different version of the trade that could be considered by many as a blockbuster. According to NBA Trade Rumor machine, a possible deal between the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, and Indiana Pacers could be in the works right now. Trade scenario is suggesting as follows:
1. The Milwaukee Bucks will acquire Paul George from the Pacers and Zaza Pachulia from the Warriors;
2. The Golden State Warriors will then get Monta Ellis from the Pacers, Khris Middleton and John Henson from the Bucks
3. Finally, the Indiana Pacers will obtain Klay Thompson from the Warriors and Jabari Parker from the Bucks
However, The Inquisitr pointed five reasons that could block these blockbuster deal between the three teams. First, the Warriors will not likely trade Thompson at this point of the season and they might wait until the February 2017 trade deadline to see if he improve in the following games.
Second, the Pacers already express their commitment to George as their franchise and sign him for a max deal in order to stay put with the team.
Third, Middleton just recently tears his left hamstring before the regular season began and could be tough for the Warriors to get him. Fourth, Pachulia just recently signed with the Warriors and he can't be traded till December 15 as league policy.
And lastly, the Warriors don't have enough cap space to take in the salary of Ellis, Middleton and Henson ($14 million per year) as per stated in the report.
By inspecting the NBA trade rumors between the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, and Indiana Pacers, this is not plausible at this moment. This means fans would likely still see Klay Thompson wearing a Warriors uniform and Paul George leading the Pacers team.
