Meizu has launched its Pro 6 Plus and M3X a few days back, now the company is holding another event on 6th December. The company will launch Meizu M5 Note on that day. But surprisingly, a new upcoming phone from Meizu smartphone has been spotted on the Chinese microblogging website.
According to leak on Weibo, the upcoming device might be codenamed as "1206". Few images have been spotted in the leak from which we can get a brief idea on the specs of the device and its design.
The smartphone that is apparently going to be marketed as the Meizu "Four", will be powered by the Exynos 8890 octa-core chipset, this is the same chip powering the Pro 6 Plus. Weirdly, the Meizu "Four" is said to be code-named "1206".
According to the leaked picture, upcoming smartphone will sport a 2K AMOLED Curved Edge Display and will be fuelled by the Exynos 8890, just like the Meizu PRO 6 Plus. This means it could launch in the next couple of months.
This can probably be before Samsung introduces the Galaxy S8 that will sport a new Exynos chip, Samsung's flagship SoC for 2017. The device looks a lot similar to the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone Mi 5C.
Xiaomi's Mi 5c will be powered by a still unnamed octa-core processor running at 1.4GHz coupled with 3GB RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p display and could feature Xiaomi's own Pine Cone processor similar to how Samsung uses their own Exynos SoC.
In the spotted smartphone of Meizu, there is physical home key present below the display of the phone, and aside from the curved display.
On the software front it expected to see if it will be shipped with Meizu's Flyme 6 OS out of the box, based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Meizu 4 is spotted in Black and White colours variants.
Meizu is reportedly releasing the M5 Note on the same day the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be launched, Android Headlines, both the smartphones are expected to be in the same $145 to $150 price range but an international release has not been confirmed yet.
