Amber Heard and Johnny Depp may not be confirming their engagement, but inside sources have dished the details about the couple's happy news.
According to Celebuzz, Depp popped the big question on Christmas Eve. However, Heard's immediate response wasn't exactly a "yes."
"Amber really took her time to make up her mind," a source close to the family told Celebuzz.
The couple reportedly began dating while on the set of "The Rum Diary", a film based of a novel by the same title written by Hunter S. Thompson. Before Heard began dating Depp, she had just ended a four-year relationship photographer Tasya van Ree, according to Celebuzz. Heard took her time because she wanted to be absolutely sure Depp was "The One" for her.
"She turned him down before," the source told Celebuzz, "before she said yes. So she waited and was thinking about it for a long time."
The engagement rumors first began when Heard was spotted leaving spotted leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The actress was spotted by photographers, and Heard quickly attempted to cover her left hand.
However, one sneaky paparazzi was able to snap a photo of the sparkler which is believed to be her engagement ring. (Click here to view the photo of the ring.)
"Heard was inside for about an hour and a half and, on her way out, she was doing everything to hide her hand," a source told E! News. "The actress also waited for the valet driver to open her car door for her, seemingly so as not to have to expose her hand for an extra second."
Depp and Heard have not confirmed nor denied a possible engagement. No word as to when the couple would allegedly be tying the knot.
