MWC 2017: Top 5 Smartphones Launched, Nokia 6, LG G6, Moto G5, BlackBerry KEYone, and Sony Xperia XZ Premium

Many tech giants from all over the world participated in the Mobile World Congress event at Barcelona. The MWC 2017 event witnessed many device launches but few of the top launches where from tech giants like the Nokia, LG, Motorola, Sony and Motorola. Below mentioned are the top five smartphones that were launched at the MWC 2017.

Nokia 6: The Finnish company arrived with new smartphones at the MWC 2017 including with Nokia 6. The handset measures 154mm x 75.8mm x 8.4 in dimensions and sports a 5.5-inch full HD (403ppi) display with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 8x1.4GHz and coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The handset comes in two storages-32GB and 64GB internal storage and external storage via microSD card up to 256GB.

Nokia 6 runs on Android Nougat with pure android experience and the device is equipped with a 16MP camera at the rear with LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera. Nokia 6 is equipped with non-removable 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support and the device is priced at €229.

LG G6: LG launched its LG G6 flagship which measures to 148.9mm x 71.9mm x 7.9mm sporting 5.7inch larger display with minimum bezels at the side. The screen resolution accounts to, 1440x2880 and 564ppi pixel density. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset (2x2.35GHz & 2x1.6GHz) paired together with 4GB RAM.

This handset also comes in two storage option - 32GB and 64GB storage and an option of expanding the storage via microSD up to 256GB. LG G6 runs Android Nougat with LG UX 6.0 overlay - specifically designed for the G6, which takes advantage of the 2:1 screen to offer a half-and-half aesthetic that's ideal for multitasking.

LG G6 sports a dual-camera setup of 13-megapixel cameras on the rear, which is claimed to be a wide-angle camera with a 125-degree lens, for optimal panoramic shooting. The front face of the Smartphone has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Also, a 3,300mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support is incorporated in the phone.

Moto G5 Plus: Motorola launched its most awaited flagship at MWC 2017 event. Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.2-inch full HD display. Under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset with paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.

The phone is also equipped with 16-megapixel rear camera featured with phase detection and laser autofocus with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 5-megapixel f/2.2 front camera with auto-HDR. The device is also incorporated with a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower quick charging support, Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and fingerprint scanner.

BlackBerry KEYone: The CES 2017 platform was the place where BlackBerry teased this flagship and the device has finally made its way to the tech market through MWC 2017.The Smartphone sports a 4.5-inch full HD display and has a premium metal unibody design featuring with Blackberry's iconic keyboard placed below the display. The phone is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The processor is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card and a 3,505mAh battery. BlackBerry KEYone is also featured with a 12MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8MP front camera and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with BlackBerry DTEK security applications.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium: Sony unveiled its new flagship which sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x1920 pixels resolution carrying a pixel density of 424ppi. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The device also has a slot for microSD card up to 256GB and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium comes with a 19MP rear camera having an aperture of f/2.0 and comes with SteadyShot and an 'Anti-distortion' shutter and a 13MP camera in the front with an aperture of f/2.0 for selfies. The phone is also equipped with 2,900mAh nonremovable battery with quick charge support.
