Moto Z Play Droid Receiving Android Nougat Update On Verizon

Verizon, one of the four major carriers released Android 7.0 Nougat update to the very famous Motorola Smartphone Moto Z Play Droid. The unlocked variants of the Moto Z Play Droid received the update in February this year and it was almost six months after Google released the update.

According to Verizon Wireless, the Android 7.0 Nougat update has been released on March 7, 2017 and the carrier announce he release as "Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a new software update for your Moto Z Play Droid Edition. Android 7.0 Nougat improves your mobile experience with new battery-smart features and multitasking enhancements." The Android Nougat update comes with a software version NDNS25.137-24-1-2 over-the-air (OTA) with amazing battery-smart feature and multitasking enhancements.

Multi window mode: In-order to use two apps on screen at the same time then this feature is the most amazing one and to enable Multi window mode (Portrait orientation)-Tap on the Overview (Recent Apps) button, press and hold the app which the user want to use and drag it to the top of the screen. Also, the app can be placed at the bottom screen by just swiping up or down through recent apps and finally tap the app you want to use.

App quick switching: The switch between the app on screen and the most recently used app can be done by double tapping Overview (Recent Apps). And in=order to return back to the original app double tap Overview again.

Bundled notifications: The new update Android allows apps to bundle multiple notifications from the same app into one notification.

Change in Notification settings: This can be performed by two ways- either by a tap and hold on app's notification or by sliding the notifications a slightly towards left or right, and tap the gear icon.

The other features that will accompany the Android 7.0 Nougat are 1500 emojis, Improved settings navigation, and Data Saver- which ensures that the battery usage is optimized as soon as the screen is off.
