Sony, the Japanese tech giant unveiled the Xperia XZs Smartphone at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona. The Sony Xperia XZs will boom in the Chinese tech market as the Smartphone has cleared TENAA. The Sony Xperia XZs launched along with the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra at the MWC 2017.
As per the TENAA listing, the Xperia XZs Smartphone spotted on TENAA is dual SIM variant having a model number G8232. The phone sports a 5.2-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution, protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. Under the hood, the Smartphone is powered by quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, along with either 32GB of internal storage depending on the variant. The phone comes with Android 7.1 Nougat straight out of the box.
The Sony Xperia XZs features Exmor RS camera which is found in the Xperia XZ Premium. The camera is capable of shooting 720p slow-motion videos at up to 960fps. The front face of the phone holds a 13MP snapper with a f/2.0 aperture lens and support for 1080p video capture.
The Sony Xperia XZs offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and 4G LTE connectivity options. The phone is equipped with a 2900mAh capacity battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. Other features that are included are the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP65/68 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, and a host of Sony audio technologies.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium
Sony Xperia XZ Premium was launched along with the Xperia XZs. It sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display and totally measures 146mm x 72mm x 8.1mm and weighs 161g. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB internal storage options. The phone runs on an Android 7.1 Nougat OS and is equipped with a 2,900mAh non-removable battery with quick charge support.
