"The Flash" Season 3 musical crossover episode, aptly titled "Duet" aired on Tuesday and it was quite the musical audiences were expecting. It managed to bring Barry and Iris together but actress Candice Patton, who plays Iris, has hinted at something tragic happening by the end of the season.
"The Flash" Season 3 musical crossover with "Supergirl" has gotten fans excited as it restored their faith in the power of love but it is not going to be a rosy ride ahead. According to E! News, actress Candice Patton has said that something tragic is going to happen and "The Flash" Season 3 is not going to end without someone losing their life or being badly injured.
When asked about the wedding of Barry and Iris, she said that it is unlikely to happen soon but Iris and Barry are safe as far as their relationship is concerned. This is because "The Flash" Season 3 has to deal with her imminent death and the twin prophecies. Notably, Iris' life is in danger and Barry is trying to change the future.
Speaking of Barry, actor Grant Gustin has said that coming out of the musical, Barry and Iris are good. According to him, Barry allowed his fear to get in the way and control things but now the love message has seeped inside him. Music Meister did fine to bring him and Kara together.
As for Kara, she is back with Mon-El. In the last episode, she found out that he had been hiding his identity. He was actually Daxam royalty and it means that the two have a kind of forbidden love. Actress Melissa Benoist said that their timing is not the greatest and another major obstacle awaits their relationship.
Well, things seem grim for Iris and Barry as well. They might have reunited and sealed their relationship with a kiss in "The Flash" Season 3, she is not out of danger. Barry is still not done with changing the future and as he goes about saving his love, it will not be easy.
"The Flash" Season 3 airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on the CW.
