"Supergirl" Season 2 finale is nearing and before the curtains come down on the second season, Andrew Kreisberg revealed some interesting scoop about the show. He said that the last few episodes will test Kara as she will have to make difficult choices.
In three weeks, "Supergirl" Season 2 will come to an end but before this happens, Supergirl aka Kara will have to wrestle with tough situations, E! News claimed. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has said that Episodes 21 and 22 will see her making the most difficult decisions she has ever had to make but she will be mentored by Superman and Cat. Yes, both of them will be making appearances in the show and as per Andrew, their appearance will take viewers by surprise.
Shedding light on Lena and her equation with Kara, he said that viewers can fully sympathize with what Lena is going through in "Supergirl" Season 2. She is being forced to make the wrong moves and it would be interesting to see how she overcomes these obstacles. He also praised the character saying that he wishes her to remain good and wants the best for her.
However, he refused to divulge much detail about Rhea's plan. All he said was that it involves everyone as in Kara, Lena and Mon-El. Kreisberg also said that her plan in "Supergirl" Season 2 makes for an interesting watch as it involves actions and counteractions. The most important part is that there would also be a faceoff between her and Cat Grant.
Talking about their relationship, he said that Rhea and Lena have formed an interesting family in "Supergirl" Season 2 as the two complement each other in a very strong way. Rhea is like the mother Lena always missed while Lena fills the vacuum created by Rhea's son who betrayed his mother.
"Supergirl" Season 2 airs on The CW on Mondays.
