Justin Bieber Tells Manager He Wants to Step Away From Music to Open Tattoo Parlor with Dad?

According to reports, Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, his mentor Usher and mother Pattie Mallette all traveled to Panama to stage an intervention. Radar Online reports that Braun, Usher and Mallette are concerned about the 19-year-old "Boyfriend" singer and wants him to make some serious changes.

Bieber was recently arrested in Miami for drag racing, resisting arrest and driving with a bad license. The pop star has been in the headlines a lot recently for his behavior and antics. Reportedly the intervention didn't go as planned and the Biebs refused to go to rehab or seek help.

According to Radar, he did however reportedly tell his manager that he wanted to take a break from music. This isn't the first time Bieber has talked about a possible retirement from his music career. Radar's source claims that Bieber wants to focus his time on opening a tattoo shop with his dad, Jeremy.

"Justin told Scooter and Usher he needs to take a break from making music and touring," the source said. "He complained that he toured for most of last year and he hasn't had a chance to catch his breath."

"Justin wants to take control of his life and not be out on the road in a different city every other night," the source continued. "His short term plans include opening a tattoo parlor with his dad. They have talked about it for a very long time. It's his dream for it to be a very high-end parlor, unlike anything currently out there."

The singer definitely knows about tattoos. He has 20 of them and he's been photographed getting inked with his dad in the past. However, not everyone on Bieber's team is excited about this new alleged venture. The source told the site that Bieber's team thinks if he steps away from the music he will "just sit around and do nothing."

"Continue to party with his buddies," the source added. "Everyone respects Justin's desire for some down time, but too much idle time is when he typically gets in trouble. He needs structure and a routine to keep him out of trouble."
