Kate Middleton, Prince William News: Couple Not Living In Norfolk Home Because Duke Of Cambridge Wants More WHAT?

Kate Middleton and Prince William are almost settled in their new home, but still have a few finishing touches left until they can move in with baby George.

According to Yahoo! Shine, the couple has been working on remolding their new home in Norfolk, England since the New Year. The royal couple's new home was reportedly supposed to be complete last year, but their construction work couldn't be completed on time.

"They were [at their home] to relax and have some time out from London and see how the property is coming along," a source told Shine.

Kate has reportedly been taking care of the décor while William oversees the construction. The Duke of Cambridge wants to protect his family from the paparazzi, who have caught some of the couple's private moments in the past.

"While Kate has been hunting for pretty antiques in the nearby village of Holt, William has been taking a keen interest in ensuring the property is private and the family can relax there without the fear of being photographed by the paparazzi," Shine reports. "A driveway has been re-routed and trees planted to shield the residence from the public."

Hopefully the couple's home will be completed before Valentine's Day so the two could share a romantic evening at home. Their Valentine's Day date probably won't happen on the day since Kate has her second royal engagement at the opening of The ICAP Art Room at Northolt High School.

"Her Royal Highness will greet staff and pupils, experience a short Art Room session, learn about how the school and the charity work together and officially open the new facility," the royal family said in a statement.

According to Entertainmentwise.com, the charity is "aimed at children of school age, offer art therapy to those who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties."
