Paul Walker Death: 'Fast & Furious 7' Star Didn't Want Daughter Meadow To Live With Mother Because Of Her Drinking Problem?

Paul Walker didn't want his 15-year-old daughter Meadow to live with her mother because of an alleged problem with alcohol.

According to multiple reports, Walker left his $25 million estate to Meadow and also requested his father file a petition asking for his mother Cheryl to become his daughter's guardian.

The will did not state why Walker wanted Meadow to live with her grandmother rather than his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros, but his former flame's past might have something to do with the request.

TMZ reports Soteros was arrested twice for driving under the influence. Soteros first offense occurred in California in 2003, and was sentenced to three years probation. The second DUI happened in 2013 while in Hawaii.

"Sources close to the family tell TMZ Rebecca's drinking has been an ongoing issue for years," TMZ reports. "Paul's daughter Meadow called her famous dad in 2011 and pleaded to let her move to L.A. and live with him. He happily obliged, because we're told Paul and Rebecca had countless arguments for years over her drinking problems."

Meadow has reportedly been living with her grandmother since the death of her father on Nov. 30.

His daughter hasn't spoken out about her father's death, but Walker's friends and cast members have talked about their grieving process. "Fast & Furious" star Tyrese Gibson talked to "The Arsenio Hall Show" about his he has dealt with the tragedy.

"I've never been depressed in my life, but I was very very sad and down, and it took me a minute to shake it...This is my first interview since it happened, and you know what gave me my smile is really thinking about the fact that I've never seen him cry," Gibson told the show, referring to Walker. "I've never see him sad and his energy was always up. So why would I be crying and sad and messed up?"

"Fast & Furious 7" will be released on April 10, 2015.
