Queen Elizabeth II recently voiced her discomfort with Prince William and Kate Middleton's frequent use of the royal helicopter to go from their country estate in Anmer Hall to London, particularly because she does not want the throne's immediate heirs traveling together.
However, the Cambridges were seen boarding a helicopter with their children when the Queen made her intentions known, and she is not happy. According to Cosmopolitan, she has summoned the pair to discuss their continuous helicopter use.
Royal Family Rules About Traveling
"It appears that Prince William and Catherine have disregarded orders from the Queen," royal analyst Neil Sean told The Express. "This week they were observed boarding a helicopter in the back area of Kensington Palace as they take a brief break, which disturbed the Queen."
This update comes just over a week after royal reporter Richard Palmer told The Express that the Queen was certainly concerned about the entire family traveling by helicopter and that there was some official dissatisfaction with the amount of time the Cambridges spent flying between Anmer Hall in Norfolk and Kensington Palace, their London residence.
Unofficial restrictions generally forbid senior royals from traveling together; but since Prince William's children were born, the limits have been modified. Though the Cambridges' destination for this week's trip was not confirmed, they were probably on their way to their home in Norfolk. This comes as the Cambridges prepare for a busy summer.
Prince William, Kate Middleton's PDA
Kate Middleton stunned everyone when she arrived at the Royal Polo Cup in Windsor wearing an Emilia Wickstead gown, but the best surprise of all was the beautiful kiss Prince William put on his smiling wife. While the couple is known to hold hands and display other subtle shows of affection, the kiss deviated from conventional royal protocol and got everyone talking, including fans who were ecstatic with the interaction.
The royal couple's flirtatious conversation comes amid claims that they intend to modernize the monarchy and chart a new course for the royal family once William becomes king. During their most recent public appearances, the future King and Queen Consort seemed personable. They recently wowed royal spectators at Wimbledon.
The Cambridge couple arrived in the Royal Box on day nine of the tennis championships to see Serbia's Novak Djokovic defeat Italy's Jannik Sinner in the men's singles quarter-final match. Catherine's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, were also in attendance, sitting to the Cambridges' left in the royal box. The Duchess of Cambridge was seen kissing her parents as they took their seats during the match.
Their eldest son, Prince George, later joined his parents in the Royal Box for his Wimbledon debut during the men's singles final. He appeared to be a nice little gentleman in his navy blue suit as he watched the event, but it was a behind-the-scenes moment that had people enamored.
Footage from the moment Kate and her son arrived at Wimbledon showed the duchess in full mother gear as she presented George to crucial officials. The mother-son combo looked charming in identical blue suits as Duchess Catherine led her son through shaking hands and small conversations with many authorities.
The eight-year-old prince did an excellent job, standing upright with his hands at his sides between introductions, much like his father. But he allowed his childish delight to show as he watched the matches with his parents, clapping and grinning as he pointed out critical moments, Woman's Day via MSN reported.
