Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have returned to Frogmore Cottage, their previous house on the property, for a brief visit while attending events such as the One Young World Summit and Thursday's Well Child Awards.
The brand-new residence of Prince William, his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children are Adelaide Cottage, which is situated on the same grounds and is only 0.3 miles away.
Royal Staff Urge To Prevent Chaos
Additionally, royal staff members have gone to great measures to prevent the four, who infamously have a tense relationship right now, from running into one another. Prince Andrew, the disgraced uncle of the princes, and his ex-wife and friend Sarah Ferguson moved into the $35 million Royal Lodge property after being embroiled in the Jeffrey Epstein sex abuse scandal.
The action centers on Windsor Castle, one of Queen Elizabeth's primary palaces, yet, there is a more powerful neighbor nearby: Buckingham Palace. When she's at home, the Queen and Prince Andrew regularly stroll their dogs in Frogmore Gardens.
Prince Andrew has been kept out of the public eye by the efforts of both Prince William and his father, Prince Charles. One such effort was to prevent him from attending the formal Knights of the Garter ceremony at Windsor Castle earlier this year.
Sarah Ferguson, who showed the American actress how to curtsy, was a close friend of Prince Andrew who Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were once associated with. And although the Sussexes now reside in California, Prince Harry still maintains a close relationship with Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, his cousins who are the offspring of Andrew and Sarah.
Being seen in public with Epstein, however, has become politically charged in the wake of information about Prince Andrew's association with Epstein and his payment of an estimated $12 million to resolve Virginia Giuffre's sex abuse complaint. In the meanwhile, with the impending publication of Prince Harry's memoir, the royal family has a lot to worry about.
Prince Andrew's Life To Change When Prince Charles Becomes King
Despite having done enough to dishonor the entire Royal Family, the disgraced Duke of York is nonetheless one of Her Majesty's closest and most loved relatives. According to this former BBC producer, once Prince Charles assumes office, things will start to change for the Queen's purported favorite son.
Prince Andrew allegedly does what he does because he has never been told "no," according to Sam McAlister, the BBC producer who arranged Emily Maitlis's Prince Andrew interview. Sam also believes that the Queen has a soft spot for him and hence gives him a lot of leeway, verifies Daily Star.
However, things will drastically alter for the Royal who has brought the family much shame when Prince Charles succeeds to the throne. Sam verified that even during the interview, the Duke made several surprising mistakes, possibly because he's never been told no, in her new book "Scoops: Behind the Scenes" of the BBC's Most Shocking Interviews, as per Page Six.
Prince Andrew's daughters have been left pleading with Prince Charles for their father to get a new career. Princess Beatrice, 34, and Princess Eugenie, 32, the disgraced Duke's devoted daughters, have explicitly requested the future king, 73, to grant their father a path back to royal life.
Prince Charles reportedly assured them there is no chance of this happening, though. Additionally, according to sources, he plans to maintain his resolute stance that the Queen's decision to divest Prince Andrew of his royal responsibilities and HRH title cannot be changed.
At his residence on the Birkhall Estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, the new king met with Beatrice and Eugenie over tea and cookies. The Duke of York's case was aided by a business meeting Prince Andrew, 62, and Prince Charles held just a few days previously at the same location, according to The Sun.
The Duke made a new effort earlier this month to find his way forward with the queen, but despite listening to all three, their appeals fell on deaf ears, with a source saying: "There's no change," Mirror reported.
