Mason Stonehouse, 6, spent $1,000 on Grubhub orders while playing on his dad's phone. Around 9 p.m. on a Saturday, food deliveries began at the family's residence in Chesterfield Township, close to Detroit.
Frequent packages are seen arriving at the Stonehouse front door in video captured by the family's Ring camera. Keith, Mason's dad, was confused at first, but then he pieced everything together that involved a Michigan boy playing with his phone.
The father of two said it took multiple meal deliveries from different food establishments before he noticed Michigan boy Grubhub food orders on his phone, per CNN.

Keith said that it "struck" him when he ate the meal. He checked his phone and saw notifications that his food "was getting read."
"I looked at my bank account and it was getting drained," he said.
It Was A Food Feast
Shrimp, salads, shawarma, chicken pita wraps, sandwiches, chili cheese fries, and numerous scoops of ice cream were among the many items on Mason's seemingly endless meal order. Keith's bank received a fraud notice, rejecting a $400 pizza purchase due to the large amount.
Mason's mom, Kristin Stonehouse, said Grubhub had awarded the family a $1,000 gift card for the trouble caused by the Michigan boy playing on his dad's phone. According to her, the firm is also contemplating incorporating the family into an internet advertising campaign, according to NBC News.
Because of the Michigan boy Grubhub incident, the Stonehouse family had to store most food deliveries in their refrigerator. Some of the neighbors were asked over to share in the feast, People reported.
