Idina Menzel, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots covered the hit song from Disney's "Frozen" animated film, "Let It Go," on the "Tonight Show" and it is everything you would expect it to be.
The group used instruments you would find in a children's music classroom: blocks, a toy xylophone, a triangle, etc. Together, they managed to make a new Disney favorite into a magical late night segment.
"In a recent 'Ask The Roots' video, Tariq (aka Black Thought) revealed that they figure out the arrangement 'in an instant.' 'That's what keeps it fresh,' he says," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Interestingly, where people are placed in the shot usually dictates what kinds of instruments they will play for that particular performance."
Menzel performed "Let It Go" during the 2014 Academy Awards on Sunday. However, it wasn't her spectacular performance that made headlines, rather the person who introduced her during the award show.
Actor John Travolta introduced her Menzel and managed to butcher her name in the process. Menzel's new name, Adele Dazeem, immediately hit the Internet and Travolta became the butt of all Oscar jokes.
"He knew how to say her name," a source told E! News. "No one knows what happened. Maybe nerves just got the best of him."
Even celebrities took turns poking fun of Travolta's major flub.
And it didn't take too long before someone created "How John Travolta Would Pronounce Your Name" slang to make its way online. You can check out what your "Travolta" name would be here.
"Frozen" ended up taking home the Oscar for best animated film and best original song. Other big winners for the 86th Academy Awards included Lupita Nyong'o for best supporting actress, Jared Leto for best supporting actor, Cate Blanchett for best actress, Matthew McConaughey for best actor and "12 Years A Slave" for best picture.
