A few days ago news broke that actress Scarlett Johansson was expecting her first child with her fiancé Romain Dauriac. The news came as a surprise. While Johansson hasn't confirmed the pregnancy news, several source told E! News that she was at least five months along and due in August.
The baby news comes right after the couple went public with their engagement. E! broke the news in September after the 29-year-old was spotted wearing a beautiful vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring. Johansson and Dauriac, a French journalist, went public with their relationship in November 2012.
The news of Johansson's pregnancy is definitely something to be excited about but there are concerns about what producers are going to do about the upcoming film "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
The actress is currently promoting "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," in which she plays Natasha Romanov/Black Widow, the same character she plays in "Avengers." According to E!, Johansson was scheduled to begin filming for "Avengers" in April after her promotional tour wrapped.
During that time the "Her" actress will be about six months pregnant which would be pretty difficult to hide under her curve-hugging catsuit. Sources close to the production told E! that shooting the movie "will need a bit of rearranging" and that "they're going to fast-track her scenes.
That simply means that Johansson's movie scenes will most likely be filmed as soon as possible. The studio refused to comment on E!'s story and would not say whether the actress would have to reschedule filming.
Other options for making the film work around Johansson's growing baby bump is to use a stunt double for the physical scenes, give her less screen time or push back the shooting altogether, Entertainment Weekly reports.
