One man is dead and nearly 24 people were hurt, two critically after a mass shooting early Sunday morning in Ohio.
Akron police responded to several 911 calls about the shooting just after midnight, WOIO-TV reported.
Soon after, victims started showing up at area hospitals.
Police said a 27-year-old man was killed and another 26 people were suffering from gunshot wounds. The conditions of the victims was not immediately available.
There were no immediate arrests.
Photos from the crime scene showed scores of evidence markers placed where bullet shells littered the road.
A firearm was recovered at the scene, according to the Akron police. It was unclear if it was the gun used in the shooting.
Police later said they were worried about a possible retaliatory attack and asked for witnesses to come forward. A $22,500 reward was posted in connection with the case.
