A camera captured a violent video of a trio of armed robbers storming a downtown Los Angeles jewelry store, taking out a security guard while holding a gun to his head, and then ransacking the safe.

With a gun in his face, store owner Jerry Michele attempted to fight back against the robbers, who stole more than $500,000 in jewelry.

The robbers yelled at employees as they ran around, "Don't do anything stupid," while they waved their weapons in the air and continued grabbing copious amounts of jewelry.

Michele said the traumatic event was like an out-of-body experience and that he was pumped with adrenaline, barely remembering half the things he did in the moment.

The male suspects were covered from head-to-toe in black garb and were in and out in practically minutes.

No arrests have been made.
