Authorities released shocking surveillance footage of the moments a Florida dad of three was gunned down in his SUV as he tried to flee his killers days before his daughter's birthday.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office made the video public in hopes someone will recognize the two men seen fleeing the chaotic, middle-of-the-night scene July 3.

Deputies responding to a call of shots fired followed by a car crash in a Tamarac, Florida neighborhood discovered 25-year-old Christopher Mathurin dead in his vehicle from apparent gunshot wounds.

Area surveillance footage captured the sounds of dozens of gunshots preceded by a crash between the victim and suspects' vehicle, according to the BCSO.

The suspects are then seen ditching their car at the scene and running in separate directions, leaving Mathurin to die.

"Me and Chris got three kids... one is identical to him," his widow said, according to WSVN-TV. "I got to look at my son every day."

"My daughter's birthday is Sunday, and he's not gonna be there for my baby," she cried.

The two suspects are described as a slim male and a stocky male, both dressed in dark clothing.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call homicide detectives at 954-321-4325 or 954-321-4215.
