A man wanted for an armed robbery in Los Angeles was arrested Wednesday after leading authorities on a high-speed chase with his family in the car. He live-streamed the entire event on Instagram.

The incident began with an armed robbery in Beverly Hills.

Two suspects were quickly apprehended according to KTLA-TV.

The third suspect, however, was picked up by his girlfriend with their 2-month-old daughter in the vehicle.

Officers from the Hawthorne Police Department started a pursuit, which was later taken over by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Speeds reached 80 miles per hour and authorities say the car was dangerously close to hitting a Metro bus.

He was allegedly also running red lights and stop signs, weaving through lanes and driving on the wrong side of the road.

His Instagram followers witnessed the entire event unfold in real time.

His girlfriend is seen yelling at the suspect, demanding he pull over and let her and the infant out of the car.

"Just let us out the car," she's heard screaming.

"This is sheriffs; they going to kill me," he responds.

"You're not thinking about your baby right now," she says. "You're fixing to get your baby killed."

"Bro, I don't want to go back to jail," he says.

"It's over, bro, it's over," she screams back. "It's reality."

Nearly an hour into the chase, he turned onto a dead end street and found himself surrounded by several deputies, one of which deployed a spike strip behind the vehicle to prevent the suspect from attempting to flee.

After what seemed like a brief standoff, the suspect opened the car door, where an infant could be seen in his lap.

The baby was surrendered to a deputy, and both the couple was taken into custody. The woman was later released.

Deputy Adriana Martinez told KTLA, "I saw she was just crying, so I just wanted to soothe her and make sure she was okay."

The child was uninjured during the ordeal.

The suspect, who is on parole, is facing multiple charges, including carjacking, robbery, kidnapping, and being in possession of a firearm. His name was not released.
